GYS Pearl XL 210. Yellow

Does anyone have info on this older GYS Mig?
I don't mean the current MultiPearl i mean the older Yellow Pearl XL 210 ?
I can't find any information online and i wondered if it's as good as the current models as i have a chance to buy a used one .
Any advice appreciated,

gys are well reguarded on here i think but some one will be along soon im sure that has one

and yes newer ones will have more stuff on it but the older stuff is normaly better built

my choise would depend on what there asking for it

I bought my white multipearl on recommendation of my friend as he has 2 of the older yellow ones , one lives in his work truck for site stuff and the other at his yard. Id not say he uses them ever day but every week at least and they are still going strong must be 5-6 years now. I know he would replace with the same if he needed too

The Yellow cased GYS machines are made in China, and are priced accordingly.
I've got a couple of GYS welders, including a later Multipearl - they're great machines and very smooth to use, both in terms of the wire feed and the quality of the electrical output.

My friends multipearl is yellow i thought colour was just an update , his seems identical to mine never knew that

I should have read the OPs question better but i think the general opinion is GYS are good but yes should be assessed on condition etc plus testing if you can

Odd... If you look through the past catalogues, all the white stuff is made in France, the yellow stuff is made in China - the latest stuff seems to have some 'inbetweeners' that have a white casing, yellow front panel and are made in China...

Certainly all the GYS stuff I've seen this decade has followed the white=France yellow=China 'rule'. They're pretty up front about the country of origin and TBH, other than the online catalogues, i've only seen their kit in approved bodyshops - and that is/was white/white with a Tricolour on it.
