I've bought a Wagner 350M for spraying oil based alkyd paints. Yes it's more of a high end DIY system than a pro setup, but been reccomended it and it will do what I want.
Except the manual says
Question is.... what SHOULD I use? The Wagner website is no help at all! I could order a load of Xylene or Toluene... or any other suggestions?

So... normal gunwash contains 10-30% acetone and in theory isn't suitable... also guessing they're using viton seals in the system, going by the look of the spares, so acetone will ruin those seals.Coating Materials Suitable for Use:
Dispersion and latex paints for interior use.
Water-based and solvent-containing lacquers and glazes. Paints, oils, release agents, synthetic enamels, PVC lacquers, undercoats,
base coats, fillers and anti-rust paints.
Coating Materials Not Suitable for Use:
Materials that contain highly abrasive components, facade paint, caustic solutions and acidic coating substances.
Flammable materials, materials containing acetone or cellulose thinner
