Hi all..
sorry if this is the start of some dumb questions!
I've just ordered 2L Lechler 29107, 1L hardener and 1L thinners from express paints. I have a 1.3mm fast mover LVLP gun - will this work for the primer on relatively decent body panels? I don't THINK I'll need high build at this point. Assuming I only use the lechler, and it won't be happy from the 1.3mm gun, can anyone recommend a budget gun for primer?
Full story - I'm about to start a full overspray of a 1985 mini that has remarkably little rust, and the actual metalwork is really good - just not the paint. I have a 3HP 100L compressor, filters to remove moisture, and the above LVLP gun for the final layer. I've used rattle cans extensively, but have never used a proper compressor gun setup. I have read up on the 2K issues (If I go that route, I have access to an air fed mask). Everything is being done at the budget end of doing it properly....
Thanks guys
