grinding/cutting discs

prob been done to death, but i could,nt find anything.

was looking in screwfix at discs, then looked on ebay, on ebay you can get twice/three times as many discs as you can from screwfix for the same price roughly.

does anyone have any experiance of the discs off ebay?? are they worth getting or would i be wasting me pennies??

I usually get mine from ebay, smith and arrow. I get good results with the zirconia flap discs and the 0.8mm thick cutting discs,and they last quite well too.

Erbauer from screwfix are decent,and cheapish. I buy those occasionally.

Usually stick with dronco, But my current supplier comes and goes,So I buy those in the meantime

I stay away from M-M variety after seeing an accident involving discs that were sold out of date with an in date sticker being placed over the top, "very naughty". The article was on this site but I believe it has been removed as the guy who nearly lost his hand is taking legal actions?

Obviously it varies with brands and availabilty on ebay but a proper welding supplier is often cheaper for example...

Totally agree, 4.5" 3M slit discs 45p each from my local welding shop.
