Hi all, was directed to this site today by "weldequip" on eBay
Can recommend him for bits, delivered quick, good stuff
Anyway, once i've rebuilt my welder with the parts provided by weldequip I will be making a few posts over the next month or so about hopefully improving my MIG skills on thinner steels, currently im welding 3mm tube and box with good strength, though not as neatly as i'd like yet
I find I blow holes in thinner stuff so am looking for some tips on how to avoid this
another skill I need is welding thin steel to thick steel
I'm building a mini with a home made cage and rear frame, housing an Alfa GTV twinspark engine and box transversley in the rear
I've got it all tacked together where I want it and I want the final welds to look professional, and more importantly be strong, so will be looking for tips on the site
Cheers
James
