Greatshot blasting pot model gs350 form 1978

We have acquired one of these at work and we are struggling to get the deadman to work correctly ,would anyone have a photo or diagram of how the hoses for deadman are setup on the pot itself . I know it's a bit of a long shot . The pot works fine other than the deadman not working correctly . Date on the pot is 1978

Have you any photos of the setup? I'm not familiar with the pot you have, but they are much of a muchness.

There is usually a simple air valve that operates when you allow air from the dead man to return to the valve.
They can sieze up but are simple to fix.

Thanks for the reply. I'll upload photos on how it is setup on Monday when I'm at work . There is an air plunger type valve ,there is also a diaphragm type exhaust valve . I'll post up photos which will hopefully be better than me trying to describe .

I'm betting it's the valve block sticking, Clemco mount them on the side of the pot.

They are both mounted on the side up near the top

There's no right or wrong at the deadman hoses, the air still either loops through it or not.

Here's the setup

If you take off the red hose does air come out of the valve?
If so, reconnect the red hose and remove the blue.
When the dead man is closed does air come out of the blue hose?
If not you have a problem in the dead man circuit.
If you remove the other end of either the red or blue hose and connect to the valve , short-circuiting the dead man does it work?

Inside the valve will be a plunger.
When air is applied to the top side it moves down allowing full compressor pressure and flow to entre the pot.
They have a couple of O rings and sieze up if not used .
