Had a great day today putting up a new garage door. Had to cut/grind/weld/screw/drill and bolt so managed to use most of tools over the day.
It's been a while since I've fired up the welder and after a few teething troubles - rusty wire, flat helmet cell, no side cutters to be found - it ran great. I remember now how much better it is since I put a decent earth lead on last year.
Anyone ever had that moment when you can feel the weld sparks burning through your (not) fireproof jumper, but the weld is laying down so well that you just press on?
