Grease nipple sizes

I need a few grease nipple for my old Fobco drill, can only get metric locally which they aren't. Anyone any idea what thread they are likely to be?, they measure approx. 0.265", so I can order some online.

1/8" bsp is a common size at work .....didn't check your size though

Going on your size 0.265" or approx 6.7mm, i would think they are likely to be 1/4" but could be ,bsw,bsf,or unf or unc,only way to tell is to measure the pitch or compare threads to screws with bsf,bsw etc threads

You could get a thread gauge.

Thanks guys, only have used metric stuff for years and have the appropriate gauges etc.
Just thought someone may know what they would likely be.

Cheers, looks very similar pitch to a metric bolt of that size.

Just had a measure up my Fobco nipples are definately 1/4 BSF. Took the opportunity to grease it as well - first time in 20 years.
