Can't believe it's over a year since I picked up this old Grayson lathe from Pontefract. These the sellers pic from back then:
I've done nothing with it as I've not had a safe, dry space. However...I've uncovered the lathe, made a bit of space and have a plan!
To say I'm tight for space is an understatement. The lathe sits on a 1200mm long angle iron frame.
Trouble is the space I have for it to sit in is pretty much exactly 1200 mm wide. Between the "couldn't say no to it", built in fridge and cabinet on the right.
Thought is to shorten the angle iron frame to approx 1000mm and put the angle iron legs back on. That'll leave me approx 200mm to still squeeze between the Capri and black cabinet.
I need now to find 4 suitable locking castors.
