Another non welding post. 
Since putting a new graphics card (Quadro 4000) in my computer I've had no audio output from the headphone sockets (front or back of the case). I'm assuming this is because the Quadro has DisplayPorts which can carry audio so it's taken the job of processing sound off of the on board DAC but there's nothing plugged into the DPs (My monitors are DVI only).
Does anyone know how to make it use the built in headphone ports again? I'm using Linux Mint .

That dropdown menu (Couldn't screenshot it open for some reason) offers "Digital surround 5.1 (HDMI) output" and "Digital surround 7.1 (HDMI) output". There is no HDMI which is a little confusing but whatever it's set to, there's still no sound.
