First post on here so if i break any forum rules please tell me so i dont do it again.
Basically my story goes as:
I have bought myself a mig setup from someone local consisting of:
a Clarke 160en turbo mig, a huge bottle of argon (i think its argoshield but ill have to check, its deffinately BOC though) i also got a twin guage for the gas bottle.
Its been set up and used with gas so dont need to change the polarity or anything as its ready to go.
what i need is advice/help because there is no gas line for between the bottle and the back of the unit so if anyone can point me in the right direction as what to use that would be great.
I used to be a panel beater and did some welding but as i only served my apprenticeship and left the trade its been a couple of years since ive welded so i will be about for advice and to show you how i get on.
Im rebuilding a Golf Rallye and there will be some welding involved with the bodyshell and cage and lots of other bits along the way.
Again, any help with where to get the gas line. and also if theres anything else you think i might need to know about my setup im all ears.
Thanks in advance
Hilf

p.s. Im an administrator on the mk2 golf forum and if there are any mk2 golf owners or fans please come over and have a nosey.
