I’ve 2 canoe trailers in for repairs,so need indespension units and brake shoes,the original builder is no longer trading so will have to order based on dimensions of these components,recommend me a helpful supplier please.

Buy local if you can as trailer brakes are hard to match up online. Trailers have no reg no to get a correct match.

If you can’t match the brake linings, GMF motor factors have, or did have a relining service. I had some linings done there & it was cheaper than the proper ones & then you knew they would fit. I think it was done at a branch down in the forest, but I took them into their branch in Gloucester & they were back in a couple of days.

Any trailer produced in the past 20 years will likely only use one of only a handful of brake options, so it's not that hard to match them up.
The problem is antiquated trailers, or bitsa trailers that parts are either obsolete, or used some random components from whatever the builder found.
