Good sculpture site

In the 60's fabricated steel sculpture took off in the states.
Size became a problem, being the land of free thinking a company Lippincot got in on the act. They worked out a system wherby artists could come up with an idea, the company would fabricate it with the artist and split the profits.

Who knows my tiny shed may one day be a massive hangar.
I spotted a book in an arty shop and almost spent thirty quid on it, almost.
Then found it on amazon for about fifteen. Worth a punt even if you only look at the pictures.
On the gallery page shown are some random photos.
Inspiring stuff, my next personal mission has been decided. Guess which photo set me off.

i looked through all of them expecting to come across a tall bike lol

they are all very interesting sculptures and peices of art though

but which one set you off? i have no idea lol, is it the giant spoon with the cherry? lol

No idea which photo has you drooling but many great works there, think my favourite is Dance of the Cranes

My guess is Atmosphere and Environment?

The one that got me was Broken Obelisk.
Simple and striking.
Then I looked through the whole gallery Atmosphere and Environment got me, looks like something I have been thinking through for about two years.
The whole thing is stunning.
The book is my precious.
I now feel bad for copying the title onto my phone in the shop rather than buying it on the spot.
Never mind inspiration is a random thing.

What a place to have worked. And still be working, the book is about the old days; they are still doing this stuff.
