In the 60's fabricated steel sculpture took off in the states.
Size became a problem, being the land of free thinking a company Lippincot got in on the act. They worked out a system wherby artists could come up with an idea, the company would fabricate it with the artist and split the profits.

I spotted a book in an arty shop and almost spent thirty quid on it, almost.
Then found it on amazon for about fifteen. Worth a punt even if you only look at the pictures.
