Hi all,
As christmas is just round around the corner the annual scroats have come out in force and have started a thieving frenzy.
Loads of vans have been broken into and tools taken, sheds have been cleared and last night an attempt to nick a BBQ of all things was made just around the corner from me.
I have always intended on getting CCTV and now is the kick up the butt to get it sorted. I am thinking of 3 cameras, one on the front of the house, one on the side above my door (Front door is on the side of my house) and one looking over the back garden all with 180 degree view and mobile phone alerts and night vision.
I live on a small cul de sac with just 9 houses but if you can see the main road from my back garden fence through the neighbouring houses that back onto us so it makes for an opportune thief to wonder over the fence. We also have a double garage with some of my welding gear and tools in and my wife has a small salon attached tot he garages too
Can anyone recommend a good CCTV bundle / brand that doesn't cost the earth and simple enough for a technophobe like me to install? I have attached pictures of my house in case any of you have experience of cctv and can suggest best places to position the cameras?
TIA
