Won't know the details until I see it. Supposed to be a 220v unit and price is probably $100 or so.
I have a basic110v Astro PowerMIG 110 (Cebera no doubt, has ubiquitous black plastic feeder mechanism) that I need to upgrade.
Looking for:
*) Reversible Polarity for Flux Core
*) Arc Stabilization w/output capacitor
Also think I would like a 220v model for thicker metal.
I've just been looking at Clarke welders on internet and they look like Cebera (made in Italy) welders. I was under the impression Clark made MIG welders a "long time ago" and were very robust, however it's looking like Clarke are low cost welders (and probably Cebera machines.)
Still, my Astro does its job and I have no complaints having used it on a few auto rust projects in the past 1-2 decades.
NOTE: I'm 70 and really winding down on the projects, but I'd still like to do an upgrade if possible w/o great expenditure.
Thanks
Tom
