I was having a scan on the net last night and noticed Chesterfield College did a variety of Welding Courses, so i gave them a call today and had a chat with one of the lecturers and have decided to enrol on one. (i have checked with SWMBO and i've been given the green light)
I explained to the chap it was purely to imrove my skills for my hobby as opposed to needing to gain a qualification for a job\employment. I said i've done some MIG but i'd really like to improve my TIG welding so he suggested a Level 2 ABC Award would be best as its much more pracital based with little written work required.
It runs for 13 weeks 2 nights a week for 3 hours each night and costs £330 which i didnt think was bad at all.
It starts in a weeks time and i'm really looking forward to it!
Wish me luck!!
