glue for polycarbonate

I am fitting polycarbonate windows in a hard top that I use on my MGB when competing in sprints etc. The plan is to some vent holes in the back window with some small polycarbonate peeks above them to reduce the amount of rain entering.

I understand that I can heat form the peeks. What glue should I use to stick the polycarbonate peeks to the polycarbonate window?

Also will I need to bend a flange on the back of the peek to increase the joint area or can I just stick the it end on to the window?

I usually use a methacrylate for that, it pretty much welds them together.

I think the solvent is methylene chloride.

Would the solvent glue used with some plastic plumbing be suitable?

it might be worth a test peice to make sure but carn't see why not

David, i would use Polyurethane adhesive. It comes in black and
is very flexible.Drys like a hard rubber and sticks like **** to a
blanket.
