If you get bits inside after drilling , tape a small tube on the end of your hoover hose and try and suck out the broken bits.

I wedged a couple of 5mm neodymium magnets in some aquarium tubing to retrieve a nut from down an oil channel in a block once, doesn't stick to the sides, good little hoover.
