Glow in the dark paint

I quite fancy painting some bits a glow in the dark blue has anyone used it on items that get hot and by hot I mean black car in the sun on a hot day hot and on the same note has anyone used the phosphorescent pigment additive to normal paint to make it glow instead of premixed stuff?

my father used the pigment once, it was crap. Was a while a ho. I don't know if the technology had evolved at all now or how good different brands are
