Gloves ?

Hey there

I'm looking for a damn type of glove for handling material and spot welding ( or low amps welding ) , the problem with ones we use is that they absorbe oil and grease from tubes like a sponge .
We tried other gloves like leather ones from Milwaukee but the it's always the same story , oil from tubes slowly destroys them .
Price is not a problem if it is worth it .

Ideas ?

Years ago I was given some funny kevlar[?] gloves, they look like a sort of yellow knitted glove with wrinkly rubberised palms and fingers.
They have been used whenever I need gloves, the rubbery stuff has worn thin or flaked off but they may well be 30 years old.

If you're only doing "relatively" cool work, maybe just get some of those real cheap "tig" gloves and accept that they have a limited lifespan?

Years ago I worked in a factory that used to issue those yellow Kevlar gloves, they were cut resistant and used for steel handling in the press shop.
l had forgotten all about them but I think they were pretty good and for that place to issue them they must have been dirt cheap, I’ll have a bit of a Google and see if you can still get them

Not sure if you need long cuffs but I use 'lorry driver gloves' most of the time in the workshop for fabrication or welding, only use gaunlets if I'm doing a lot of welding.

Yes I've tried kevlar ones too and also lorry driver ones , always
the same story .
Maybe something water resistant would help ?
