Glove box holder

I made this little glove box holder.
Annoyingly the gloves I like are in a bigger box so they are forever in the way, then the box breaks and they fall out.
Anyway. I marked it all out. I was going to attempt to fold all of the box and just weld two sides but the end capping was in the way when folding. I ended up just cutting that off and Tig welding it on after.

I didn’t do a bad job Tig welding. It was really awkward, I need a stool really. Annoyingly I messed up one of the sides, the dial on the torch got nocked up some amps and I blew a hole I sorted it but decided to smooth the sides over.

Used a hole saw. It fit the radius for the glove box, I then just marked centre of the holder. Measured out each way from centre, drilled the holes and then using a jig saw I cut the middle out and filed smooth.

Not seen many aluminium chassied Land Rovers around

Plus, can't remember exactly when they came in but, the more modern ones had steel doors.

Yeah the house is good. I’ve got sort some blinds out in one room. I had the roof leak fixed finally as well. So I’ll get the decorator round once and for all! Only odd little DIY jobs and then all outdoors stuff like building some gates.

I do indeed. I want one of the swag off road ones. I might buy the 20t one and build a press and sell my 10t press. I kind of like the idea of buying a hydraulic power pack and running a press of that. Few other things I could do with it as well then
