With a number of knowledgeable folks on the forum, I thought I'd pop this one up as I seem to be getting no where fast at the moment.
I'm looking for some 'E' Profile seal, although as long as it's roughly the same dimensions, it can be whatever profile is available - this will be a fit and forget scenario which shouldn't need touching for at least 10 years hopefully longer.
Dimensions are;
2mm thick - this is the important measurement.
8mm wide - this could increase to 10 or 12mm if absolutely necessary.
Self adhesive too, as I don't really want to be messing around with contact adhesives. It will be going on an Aluminium extrusion, and I'm looking for about 100mtr of the stuff. I'd looked at using 4mm Neoprene cord as a direct replacement for the perished rubber cord I'd removed but buying that amount was going to come in at a ridiculous price, and I had 50mtr of the 2x8mm E seal left from a job years ago - problem being I can't remember where I got it from!
Any ideas? Ebay is full of the tiny 5mtr rolls for major £££'s, so doesn't work out cost effective.
Failing all of that - a supplier for reasonably priced 4mm Neoprene Cord?
