I'm looking for a bit of 0.9-1mm mild steel sheet to patch a few small holes in my outer sills but having moved here not long ago I'm lacking local knowledge of "proper" suppliers and seem to spend most of my time driving around big-brand places getting either stupid prices or "errr we dont sell things like that". Can anyone advise me of suppliers of sheet metal/wire etc preferably to the north of the city (I live about 10 miles north) so that I can stop the constant hunting for things in my spare time? Local knowledge is definitely useful!
