But sometimes though, it does turn out to be a duck! My instinct was to decline a new member to the Reliant Vehicles Global group on FB. Just as well I did because 24 hours later, he posted tee shirt SPAM to a related group.

We're a bunch of sceptics aren't we and I include myself in that, which is why the follow up questionby @slim_boy_fat was perfectly reasonable and welcoming.

Apologies to the OP if we have subverted a genuine attempt to introduce yourself as a new member. Please, tell us of your experience to date, and what's next.

Seen it on a few groups, usually with a variation of "nobody on my own timeline thought this was cool so I posted it here" followed by a link to a supplier.
