we had a load of kids toys a lawnmower and some big plant pots with other stuff and put a notice up all working and free to a good homeWell first load of stuff went to the tip, and despite how much it grates to skip perfectly good toys, high chairs, etc... I do have some space back in my storage unit now, so I'll get over it.
Bikes (both barely used before they were outgrown) will be going on the driveway on the next school day with a sign to take if they can be used. Fortunately we're on the same street as local primary school, so there's a decent amount of people passing.
The Locusts, or as we call them around here 'grandparents' will always have them.Well first load of stuff went to the tip, and despite how much it grates to skip perfectly good toys, high chairs, etc... I do have some space back in my storage unit now, so I'll get over it.

It is good that you have found new homes for the bikes, had you not I know someone in Edinburgh that works in a cycle re use refurbishment scheme which is financed my the Scottish government grants, I was going to offer to ask him if there were other locations in the scheme that might take them. Thanks for the link.
