Hi all,
I'm using a clarke 151en (gassless at the moment) to weld some 25 x 25 x 0.9mm box section into a couple of scooter engine stands.
It's not going so bad although the reccommended settings in the book are ridiculous - blowing holes all over, so I've reduced the power & wire speed down to a setting that works well. Lowest power setting & wire speed of 4
The problems I'm having are:
Still occasionally blowing holes as I get to the end of the box (I've been using the pull technique, but have been told I should really be pushing???)
Welding inside a 90 degree angle, there's obviously a technique for this, but at the moment I'm struggling to get a join, I just seem to be laying a load of splatter on one side or the other
any tips gratefully received I'm very new to all this.
Jim
