Nice! I have a southbend lathe very nice machine indeed, mine was used toward the end of ww2 to make rifle barrels and still has a plate with 'property of the war department' on it, I bet it could tell some tails!!
That's a good price! mine had a wooden bench under it, I am in the process of making a new stand for it with a swarf tray. And I bought a new motor and controller for it too, the main lathe is still together so if you want some pics I will certainly post some for you!
