thinking of buying a small 2kW genny to keep in the van. there have been a few times when one would have been handy so makes sense to get one soon.
anyway, ive been looking at a few that I like and most of them have 1x110V 16amp output and 1x240V 16amp output (some have a 12V output too
question is, can I use both 110 and 240V sockets at the same time providing I do not exceed the Wattage rating of the genny?
for instance a 1000W 240V power saw and a 500W 110V work light?
the reason I am thinking of this is I have a few 110V lights that I use from a transformer, but all of my corded tools are 240V
