Hi, I've done all i can with my MK1 MR2 project that is possible without power, now I need to buy myself a generator to start preparing the car for the welding. What I'm wondering is if THIS generator would be suitable to run a Clarke 130EN MIG Welder, which I've been recommended by people on this forum for what I need to do to the car (floor panels, wheel arcs, window frame, POSSIBLY a lil chassis work).
I really need/want to start working on it now as the weather is getting better and I feel if I waste the summer then I just won't make any progress over Winter. I'm not expecting to do much welding this sumer as I still don'town the welder or know how to weld but I want to prepare all of my surfaces and them prime them with a weld through primer to know when I can weld I can jump straigh in.
Please give me any tips you have on gennys as I don't know much but really don't want to be spending more than £300 if possible.
