will I be ok to use 75-90 in place of 75-80 that is recommended?

will be doing a full fluid change, engine oil, gearbox oil and coolant.

will 75-90 be ok or ep-80?

What in? Check whether the manufacturers spec requires GL4 or GL5 as yellow metal components in some gearboxes can be affected by certain additives.

all the manufacturer book says is erf 75-80, doesn't mention mineral or synthetic, gl4 or gl5 or anything like that. doesn't even say how much goes in, had to find that out online.

Run 75w-80, some of the french boxes are very particular about thin enough oil, otherwise the syncro's struggle and the shift gets very notchy. If you've a local Pug/Citroen dealer they used to do Total BV75w-80 for about £6 a litre, which seems to agree with most of 'em.

yes, but as with many thing I thought it may be interchangeable with similar products, and it also doesn't state other required info which has since been given here

I would personally stick anything in it. Never understood why there is such varience in gearbo oils when every last one of them contains the same bits (ordinary manual boxes). One MFR says ATF one says 75W/90 yet Getrag make both boxes, thats an example.

Stick anything in most Pug and citreon boxes and you'll kill the yellow metal syncros and make the gearchange godawful whilst you're at it. Most newer Honda's are the same when numpties at a garage just bang the 75w-90 they have on the shelf in 'em.
