Gate making

hi guys looking to make a few gates around home, a few basic gates at the back of my house then looking to make nice driveway gates, any info on what size to make the gates to what opening you have, also how is the box section bent/curved on the top of some drive way gates, Been a welding a few years as a coach builder side of things but never made gates. Post some pics for ideas would be cool

here's a 6m driveway gate...the original was only 4.5m and def not big enough to get a 40footer out easily....that's when we do a runner......hahaha.....
one of about a dozen around the farm I've made using the same style......
I got a load of cheap 16mm rebar, I mean at least a ton 1/2.....so used it for the infill.....once painted it looks really good.......
ya don't need to spend loads to make a decent gate.......
prob try a bit harder / nicer in the next place tho......
