Gate dimensions onew or two pieces?

I have a job coming in for a garden gate,. Dimensions 1.6m tall with a gap of 1.4m.
Customer and hubby are debating whether to go one or two gates with a central split.
As it's going to be a decorative feature I'm inclined to say one piece.
Any thoughts?

One, it’s only 4’7”, if it was done in two they would be very narrow.

tell em it would look stupid 2 narrow gates and do it in one generally a 3d party input decides for them

If they're paying you to do it, it suggests to me that they want something nice rather than something cheap, so definitely a single, it'll give you a nice space to play with.

One,gap wont suit the saloon style,dont forget you'll lose a bit either side with whatever hinge setup there is.
I guess it also depends on how much use the gate gets used,is it quiet entrance or one that gets traffic,ie main entrance?
Then you got to go down the security of it,locks,latch,whatever etc
