gasless

at the moment running full size bottles on my hoddy clarke 151en, its nearly empty and for the amount i use my welder, just for odd jobs etc is it worth getting another bottle

what are the gasless wires like? do they weld ok or lots of splatter?

weld like stick welding splatter and all. does your machine alow you to reverse the polarity of the output as it needs reversing for gassless

It's a 151en, they're dual purpose so yes, it can be used with gas or gasless.

had a look on machine mart and my mig is alot older, all the knobs and switchs seem the place and in the same location but it says nothing about beeing gasless, what changes are needed for fluxed wire?

On the EN models, there is a pair of terminals inside that need to have the wires swapped for gasless.

Gasless is ok, but messier than stick and harder to see and hear than using gas.
