Gasless welding wire

What's the best for no gas mig. Flux cored or flux coated, or is there little difference. Just thinking about smoke & splatter mainly.

Flux Cored......there isnt such a thing as flux coated

Theres flux coated wires for Gas welding and then theres stick electrodes which are flux coated but no MIG wire.......what are they advertising?
