Gas suppliies in France

Hi All
Just a quick question are there any expats here in France.

Where do you get your Argon mix gas from ?
Trying to get an idea of cost here in the South West.

Somebody in the UK told me to look out for the Air Liquide (ALTOP) range as there is no rental on the bottles and they come complete with gauges.

Any info will be gratefully received.

Better sit down Peter, just got my bottle swapped and the invoice has just landed in the post box. €286, thats why I dont do "mates rates" !!!!!

Just coming round after falling over at that €286 what size bottle was that.

Just been looking at saga-gaz website but no price only they have an agent in Bergerac which is only 10km from me.

There are a couple of guys near me I will ask them one does steel fabrication work and the other restore classic cars.

Did you try Brosette Bti, there are a plumbing supplier and I know they also do gaz distribution? I am not 100% maybe air liquid behind them.

Is your bottle rental free?

The €286 can't only be for a refill?

I did a quick search for argon bottle. The second web site is a good source of everything. Maybe from the name on the bottle you can source the distributor near by.
