Gas source in Derby area.

I saw a little list with some suppliers the other day but can´t for the life of me find it again

I´ll be needing some Argon/CO mix and need a new regulator as well to suit.

Any reccomendations in the Derby area?

you will find gas suppliers few and far between. being 12 miles away from a gas supplier isn't that bad.
Where i am BOC, is 5 minutes away, the nearest AP agent is about 30minutes away. Most AP and BOC depot's or agents deliver anyway.

BOC have a depot on Raynesway, and Energas are off Alfreton road. The nearest AP place is in Ilkeston, I think (12 miles away... ).

Sorry for replying to an oldish thread but are any of the above suppliers rent free?

If not does anybody know off a rent free supplier in the derby/ilkeston area.

I want to convert from disposable bottles but dont use enough gas to warrant the rental fee's.

Yes I did have a look but there's nothing local as far as I can see, thank you anyway.

There was Adams Gas on there that mentioned postage so they may be worth contacting, doubt they will want to post to derby from kent though

That's bizarre - They've delivered here (to my 4 bedroomed detached) twice. And it's advertised as Hobby Gas. Can't you get it delivered to work?

theese bottles from adams gas are they the co2 drink ones and if so what are the regulaters like to get for them was looking at the 100% co2 cylinders medium size also how long do they last for as i used a small bottle in 10 mins today

Adams say that they want a business address as it means someone is always there to take delivery, they give a 2 day delivery window.

There is always someone in at my house anyway and have told them this but they arn't replying to my emails. Now I know they deliver to other non business addresses I will ring them again.

Its a shame I cant find anywhere else that comes close to there price, as there customer service seems very poor.
