I bought a new regulator rated at 300 bar for £15 rather than use my old one,
I also use a flow meter with ball in it so just transferred it to my new regulator.
Thought i'd add this in here as it was done with the new gas
Ok, as a tie-in to my thread re weaving, on the left is a straight run, right is gentle weave, same feed and voltage, 3mm mild with a scale coat.
Seems OK I think, this is a joint I do a fair bit of on some of my products - 45deg fillet at at 45deg angle, 3mm mild, 110A, I tend to get best results running top->down.
Butt joint, 3mm mild, 115A, got a bit hot where the metal was cut away.
Lap joint, 3mm mild, 115A
What do you reckon ?
It does sound a little better on the BOC gas and having the gauge all the way round feels good too, should last a bit longer.
I did same move and have no regrets I looked at numerous rent free options and none stacked up for me. Some even claim rent free but in small print where actually not as the deposit was not refundable and in fact had to be paid again if the bottle wasn't changed within 12 months including loss of all gas that remains in it.
I have a strong dislike for inept or stupid companies, things that waste my time really **** me off!
Today they sent me a statement as well, luckily it had the "if you have any queries, contact us here" line on it so i did
see what happens monday i guess, no doubt it'll get sorted.
