Especially with only 200 amps on tap.
A decent wp20 will have a greater duty cycle than the machine will have that’s for sure.

I knew you were a big fan of the 20 torches from your posts on here. I like the idea of a small compact torch. Up till now I've been using a 17 flex head for all the lower amp stuff and the 26 for higher amp and AC stuff (17 flex really doesn't like AC ) but the 26 is big and cumbersome so I'd like to ditch the 26 and replace it with a 20.

I think I'll go with the ck stuff. I had a look at the weldcraft and weldtech stuff and it's nice looking kit. The thing that's swinging it for ck is availability, I can't find many dealers for the weldcraft or weldtech stuff with reasonable postage to Ireland. Whereas the ck stuff I can get a lot easier. So unless anyone can recommend a dealer for weldtech or weldcraft or I'm going to see enough of a quality difference to make it worthwhile thrn I'll go with ck

It’s not that I particularly like a 20 over other torches it’s that a 20 just makes sense for use with 200-250 amp welders.
They cover the scope and are a compact size. What more could a competent tig welder need.
However it is nice to use a posh one but not essential.

I think the 20 is the way to go for my circumstances so. What I want is the most compact torch that will handle the 100-200amp range comfortably. I've been watching your posts on here about watercooled torches and coolers and had figured from advice you've given other people that a nice 20 coupled to a homemade cooler would suit me down to the ground.

I was in a guys shed that builds custom bikes a while back and he gave me a nice little oil cooler off a bike that I've earmarked for a cooler. It's a nice size for the job

How much volume of liquid dose it hold?
It’s quite important they hold a fair amount in front of the fan when heat exchange takes place.

Not sure on the volume but it's quite big going by all the coolers I've seen on here and on YouTube. I think it'll work fine mated up to a reasonable sized reservoir. Just need to find some fans to fit to it.
