Gas leak ?

I'm Having trouble getting my argon regulator to get above 5 lpm' I swapped regulators & got the same reading, I then put a pea shooter on the end of the torch & still a low reading. Would this point to a gas leak somewhere ?

empty cylinder more like especially with 2 regs tried
what machine ?

Tried 2 new bottles so not that, machine is a murex tig welder

my guess would be gas solenoid then, take the case off remove the gas pipe at various stages until you have free flow then you will have found your restriction

have you removed the gas shroud and checked for spatter build up

It's a Murex tig so there shouldn't be that much spatter. You are showing mig parts snoop

Must take more time to read properly the fact he said argon should have also told me it was tig, must have been half asleep that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it

Proper bottles' work have got someone coming into look at it this week' it seems to be welding ok ' I just dont know how much gas its using.

Result' changed the collett body and put a new ceramic on, and got full gas flow again .
