Gas Flow Woes

Hi, i'm having more trouble with my 135TE (the things causes more problems than it fixes ) I was previously having issues with the wire feed but thats all fixed now, only trouble is i can't seem to get any gas out of the thing.

The gas regulator i bought it with was seized solid so i bought a new one from Weldequip like this one

Which broke almost immediately so i got myself an SIP regulator a bit like this:

Which has an identical pin to open up the gas bottle so i assumed it would work fine. I know the bottle has gas in it because the SIP reg has a bleed hole so as you screw it in you get some gas purge before you tighten it up fully. Despite that when i undo the valve i get no gas flow out of the pipe. I thought it was a blockage in the pipe but i can see now that isn't the case as i cut a bit of pipe off and pushed in to the reg and opened it up and got nothing

Any ideas what it could be?

empty bottle not enough pressure left to pass the regulator, those disposible bottles are only good for 10 minutes welding

screw the black bit the opposite way as to the + - on the top, the SIP ones are the wrong way watch the side and wind it all the way down and you have to really screw the reg on to the bottle tightly, sometimes the neoprene 0 ring drags out its groove and stops the pin pressing the bottle valve

if the bottle is empty the pin rattles (with the reg off)

Hi the sip ones are opposite if you get me wind it all the way down cloickwise and its fully on as most regs would be off wind it fulkly anticlock and its off

Forgot to update this, Turns out it was just the new reg being a bit sticky. I put a bit of light oil down there then wound it on to the bottle and opened it right up then gave it a few taps and it started flowing fine, works perfectly now.

I'm probably going to get a converter from Weldequip so i can run the thing on a big bottle, just need to move in to my new unit first.
