Gas flow rates for gas lens

So I generally stick to the rule of cup size = lower end of the flow rate and then cup size x 1.5 = higher end of flow rate...works pretty well for me, but thays with standard cups. For instance a number 5 standard cup runs well between 5 and 7.5lpm

What's the deal with gas lens stuff? Just got a stubby kit delivered with cups from 4-12. Are the flow rates the same as standard?

Probably going to live with the 5 or 8 on the torch most of the time, maybe a 10 or 12 for stainless

The lens kit should give you better gas coverage so in theory you should use slightly less.

ok cool, ive got to make some adjustable feet for the new bench later so will stick a number 5 on and see how it goes
