gas flow problem got me stumped!

This is really annoying me,my restoration has ground to a halt as im having a problem with my Sip 130 turbo.The gas gets to the gun no problem but when i press the trigger the gas just comes back out the festo connector the white plastic liner is in?There is no leaking noise before i press the trigger.
So,i thought about blowing compressed air through the block the gas line goes into in a reverse direction,it didnt help to dislodge anything,so,i bit the bullet and bought a completely new gun but the gas still comes back out the festo connector??The gas just won't go through and up the swan neck to the tip,its so annoying,my restoration has just ground to a halt,anyone any ideas?
The white plastic liner is fixed positively in the festo connector,a really tight fit.
Heres a pic of the white gas liner where it meets the square metal block in the gun.

get some soapy water and a brush so you can see exactly where its coming from or stick it in a bowl of water

Will do,but when i put my nose to the end of the white liner thats where i feel the gas coming out.Theres no leaking,hissing noises until i press the trigger?

that why I said use water it if the connection was at fault it would leak constantly regardless of trigger position

Could be you have a blockage AFTER the valve block. Does it have a swan neck liner ? if so try removing it and check it's not caked up. Think someone did have some of there original plastic liner melt and end up in the swan neck.
Also check that the shroud is not all clogged up

I'll check the swan neck.It doesnt have liner as such,just a long thin spring the wire goes through.
The swan neck and gun are brand new and this problem happened as soon as i fitted it!!
Very same problem my old gun suddenly developed??Surely my new one cant be blocked when its done nothing..
The gas noise when i press the trigger definetly comes from inside the gun,gas escaping in plastic case and gas escaping where it should do through the metal tip shroud just sound different.
Im going to dip it in water today and see what happens.

Finally got to the bottom of it and it was something i didn't expect.I put the gun under water and checked for bubbles,a little bubbles came out the tip,the more bubbles come out the wire feed liner end at the gun??The end of the blue liner in the above pic wasn't settled right into the brass coloured connector??
I had no idea that the tightness of that blue liner in the connector would have to be gas tight,i didn't even know gas would come out of there??

The gas will take the path of least resistance. If there are loose connections anywhere on that valve block the gas will escape there rather than head down the swan neck. Glad you got to the bottom of it.
