Gas certificate?

Kitchen refurb and I'm having the gas pipe extended then Tee'd into separate hob and oven, should I get a certificate when the installation is completed and tested?.

if u are getting new appliances the gas safe fitter has to register them then u get a certificate

Depends if your extension pipe ends in a bayonet type coupling or a fitted appliance.....

mabee so but if new appliances the warranty is none existent and void . i bought a new gas fire a pittly 8mm pipe to conect screw it back to wall job done . got the plumber to conect it though . just as well it packed in twice under warranty . guys came out looked at the paperwork repaired it did a pressure test and a flue test each time if it was secondhand id have done it myself
