a question . i wonder why callor gas dont kick off with people using there bottles for comps and wood burners ?

The one`s I see most in the scrapyard are from defunct gas-companies, rather than Calor.....I wonder do Calor scrap their own cylinders when they become life-expired/damaged?

They do " kick off " see their website ...as the only way to legally obtain their gas bottles is to rent them , you must therefore be stealing them if they are not rented by you ( intentionally depriving the rightfull owner of their property ) Calor are deemed to be the rightfull owner. f
Stealing by finding & being in improper posession may also apply .


Places like West Wales Gas that do not rent but actually include the basic price in the full cylinder cost ( and are still cheaper than calor ???? ) will most likely be a different scenario

It may also now be illegal to deconstruct a gas cylinder under the new gas safe regulations ..I tried to find out the current infomation right from the horses mouth but Calor did not reply to me .

The legislation covering air receivers may also apply if you play with them as an air compressor set up.
