gas bottle wood burner... what size flu?!

got a few empty gas bottles knocking about, have removed valves and filled with water. Just wondered what size tube to get for chimney? there the 15kg size.

gut feeling says about 3 1/2" (90mm)?!

4" is borderline, 5" or bigger will work much better. If you are making patio burners with no door you may get away with the 3.5" but not for indoor use.

as said above if its indoors no good it will pour smoke out when you open the door and wont burn correctly

its outdoor only, ill try 4" see how it goes

The last couple I made had 3 1/2" flue pipe,I think this is really your lower limit.I did not have to restrict the air inlet or baffle the flue,For outdoor use they both burned quite nicely,but feel the size of the flue was the limiting factor as to how hot you could get them to burn.
