I would very much doubt it,I used ''high temp'' silicone on the bottom joint of my stanley stove & it didn't last that long,I ended up scraping it out & using fire cement.

Not a chance I would say, for the temps it probably gets to I highly doubt you'll find a silicone that would survive, any reason why you can't use the fire rope?
problem is silicone can be combustible at high temps & can give off highly poisonous fumes, the fumes if inhaled can cause repository deceases like silicosis...be cautious
