Garage Tool Boxes

Hello Gents
My Grandson wants to buy a garage tool box, I have found US PRO Tools based in Cambridge,they have every tool box you could think of at very keen prices.
Question is, has any one tried this company ???? Their sales talk is very appealing.
It is a lot of money for the boy to splash out and I 'm trying to find out if it is as good a deal as it looks, or any other ideas of course. Thank You All desmo11225

There are loads of companies do them for competitive prices these days. You don't have to spend big money to get one that will last years.
IMO the Kennedy and halfords range are simply excellent for the prices. You could save a few quid and buy a nice used one.

Start with a good one & beat the s**t out of him if he abuses it, (Not allowed to do that know I know)
SBF If he has any interest you will not stop him buying shiny things

if you can get or know someone with a trade card then halfords profesional is the way to go. buy what he needs, build it up over time as he discovers things that need to be added. or have a look at facom or britool, they are both pretty good. stahlwille make good tools but to be honest we have found their aftersales service not as good as their before sales service....... go figure.

I bought second hand halfords pro rollcabs years ago, still going strong, although i want a worktop height long rollcab now so i have some bench space

I use and have got some us pro tools including a cantilever tool box..it's good stuff...Halford's is good to....

I've had one of there middle boxes for a while now and it seems just as good and similar in construction to my senator top box and roller cabinet (same as the Kennedy I believe), I'm happy enough with it for my use. Without actually looking I seem to remember most their stuff has a decent warranty too?

Just checked, 10 year warranty on them, even the cheaper one which looks similar to the cheap one halfords used to do (or at least used to)

I havnt any experience of the tool boxes but have used the us pro spanners and they are excellent value and quality .

Aldi had some roll cabs in last week and i had a quick look and they seemed not to bad for the money

This is the one friends Grand son has had for 2 years seems good value all still works ok no rust ETC
I have SO roller + 2x 3 draw boxes with top box on that & small side box & shelf, cost £700 with tools second hand 30+ years ago
I would definitely buy from SGS we deal with them for gas struts & the service is really good
