Hi folks, Rating info found on a welder in my late father in laws garage, along with a Clarke 100en turbo. I never knew he welded.
Seems to be pretty ancient. Any info on it? cheers. I am just a now and then hobby welder. cheers

Plenty of info on the web, Clarke 100EN Turbo: reviews, manual etc., as to the Burgess Elto 90, it's an arc welder that should run a 2.5 rod easily enough, as you say likely to be quite ancient now, check the cabling and maybe give it a go?

The Elto has had a new cable fitted, My FIL was an electrician. The Clarkes needs a bit of cleaning up, the wire feed is a bit dirty with a bit of rust probably strip off the case and have a look inside. brush out .

I would expect the liner to be shot. Cheap & easy enough to replace though.

Ok folks this is 4 years later. The Clarke I left gathering dust in my shed, and yesterday I thought i would give it a clean and a test. I stripped the case and cleaned and brushed it out ............. Cutting a long story short.. There was no wire liner in it. I bought a new one and realised there was no screw connecter on the gas valve in the torch end for the wire liner. And I can't find one any where. Can any one direct me to a source? cheers Catman.
