I would expect the liner to be shot. Cheap & easy enough to replace though.The Clarkes needs a bit of cleaning up, the wire feed is a bit dirty with a bit of rust probably strip off the case and have a look inside. brush out .
Ok folks this is 4 years later. The Clarke I left gathering dust in my shed, and yesterday I thought i would give it a clean and a test. I stripped the case and cleaned and brushed it out ............. Cutting a long story short.. There was no wire liner in it. I bought a new one and realised there was no screw connecter on the gas valve in the torch end for the wire liner. And I can't find one any where.
