Garage Door Seals

I'm currently revamping my workshop. All painted, walls insulted and boarded with acoustic board, partition to create clean room, acoustic box come workbench and making a efficient air line system from copper piping.

The garage door needs sealed and insulated, i found this firm who seem to be a one stop shop for all my needs

The seal strips look good. An alternative for the door if it's not already insulated is to use the Kingspan type construction insulation. It's an expanded polystyrene type jobbie. Easily cut with an ordinary saw and fixed into place on a door with silicone or grip fill type adhesive

Should have said it comes in various thicknesses, get the one that will work with your door

For the bottom of my garage doors, I've used the rubber seals designed for house doors. Link below.

Pulled out of the clearance bin at B&Q a long long time ago.

Yet to seal down the sides due to the size of the gaps.

I thought the seals looked good, and the floor seal can take a bit of weight which is handy. I had thought of using the kingspan type stuff like I'm i using for the walls, just that looks more suitable as the slimmest insulation is just fractionally to deep. I also think the more flexible type insulation will hold up better matching the doors flexible nature?

I'm looking for a door seal that is designed to take weight, got 4 winter/summer alloys on a wheel trolley - 18 inch wheels with 225 tyres so not light and the stand has skinny wheels. Don't think a household door would cut it for my needs.

Been there, done it, got the t-shirt. Spent my money on what seems to be a better yet cheaper solution, thats lasted 3 years so far, and its still not perished.

I would prefer a floor seal, think it will do a far better job in my mind. The cost isn't much more than the conventional brush or silicone seal that attaches to the door, but I think they have drawbacks that a floors Ealing overcomes?
