Galvanised Tube

I have been given quite a few lengths of 1" 1/2 galvanised tube from an old trampoline frame, my question is can it be welded with my stick welder ?

By the time you grind the zink off it will be a bit thin, depends on your skill with an arc machine

It's thin old stuff. I lashed up a big outdoor paint parts hanger out of some -

Just made a big one for indoors out of Land rover hood stick parts - similar tube - extended it by welding in pieces of steel tube. A bit fizzy with hot rocks flying etc but welds OK.

Nice idea I allways struggle for a place to hang things :-)

It's pretty modular too. Not to mention cheap! No such thing as scrap eh!
